Hi, my name is Kathy Spurgeon and welcome to my blog. Here is just a little about who I am and what makes me tick!

I am first and foremost a child of the living God. I am the wife of Brian who has been my constant support for 27 years. I am also the mom of a 4- legged little girl named Brandy. She controls our home!!

For many years I was a successful business owner and worked in the field of orthopedic joint replacement. About 8 years ago life took an unexpected turn, and I had to leave the work force. This is when the fun started. I searched online for ideas of what to do with myself and discovered StampinUp and the creative, fun world of paper crafting.

I have spent these past 8 years learning everything from how to ink a stamp properly to creating cards and various paper 3D projects. Thru my local church,I use my cards to bring encouragement to hurting people, and I also sell them online.

My goals for this web-site is that new crafters will find tips and techniques to help them get started in paper crafting, and seasoned crafters will find inspiration for making cards and projects that are unique and special.
